What's an easy way to style long, straight hair?

Q. I have long, straight hair that goes about 3 inches past my shoulders. I used to have bangs and now they're long enough to tuck behind my ear - I'm going to cut them when the weather is cooler since now I push my hair off my face anyway in this heat. I have a few layers on the side but I feel like my style is boring. I'd also like to style it so it can air-dry and still look good. Since my hair is on the finer side, it usually ends up looking limp if I do that. I like myself with longer hair but wouldn't mind cutting a few more layers into it or about 2 inches at the most. Any suggestions on what I can do or how I can cut it?

A. my hair is the same way except it's below my butt. Just pull it back in a sloppy bun. It looks cute.

How do you style your naturally straight hair?
Q. Hey, just wondering because I have pin straight hair and wanted to know how other people style theirs. If I leave it alone besides blow drying it dry, it looks bad. I usually flip the ends under with a fat curling iron and pull the two sides up with clips. P.S. I have naturally dirty blonde hair. Don't know why I added that. Thanks!

A. Well I have very straight hair to and if you get a layered hair cut with some side swept bangs it tends to make your hair look more thick. Or you could try french braiding your hair while it is wet and letting it dry, it gets very crimpy but it is also volumized. I hope that helps!

How do i style my extremely straight hair?
Q. I am a woman who has extremely straight hair and i get soo bored with it. i don't want to perm it or anything. any helpful hair tips, styling advice, or hairdos i can do.

A. I know how that is. My hair is super extremely straight. Sometimes shorter hairstyles work best for really straight hair, but if you're like me, I love having long hair. Sometimes when I get bored with my hair I just use a straightener, or a curling iron to put soft curls in my hair just to make it a little wavy. it's fun for a day, and i can do something different tomorrow. good luck and have fun just playing with different styles when you have some down time to mess around with it a while...like on a day when you don't have to go anywhere or do anything.

What can I do to make curly hair look more edgy?
Q. All the current "trendy" styles involve straight hair and lots of flat ironing. Which takes too long, or is just a bit of a pain.

My hair is pretty short right now, growing out to around shoulder length. I like it but have done the same thing with it for awhile now.

Any suggestions?

A. you could put knives in it :)

What kindof hair style can we give pin straight hair?
Q. Me and my friends are having a party today. One of my friends has pin straight hair. It wont curl or anything. What kind of style can we give her that will look nice?

A. I have pin straight hair and I got it angled. It is to mymid shoulder in the front and goes down to my low shoulder blade in the back! I love it bc you can do a lot with it. No bangs in your face but if you part it to the side a lot you can have some!!!

How do I style straight, shoulder-length hair?
Q. I have straight hair that pretty much REFUSES to hold any kind of style, but I have an event coming up. I'd really love to try loose curls or waves of some kind. Does anyone out there have similar hair? If so, what are your tricks? I also don't have many gadgets - I mean, I have a blowdryer, a straightener, and probably a curling iron somewhere.

A. My best friends hair is also very difficult for it to maintain its style.
What works best for her is the classic rolling curlers. It also won't damage your hair like a curling iron
