Q. what is the best way to take care of your hair? any products that do wonders? how often should i wash it and how long. thanks and please help. i'm new to the whole taking care of your hair thing.
A. wash your hair every other day unless its really oily. i use a clarifying shampoo, it helps remove any excess build up(like herbal essences drama clean). then use good conditioner, it doesn't have to be the same kind as your shampoo. i really like biolage and purology. they're pricey, but worth every penny. then i use a leave in conditioning spray, like john frieda(its pretty light so it wont weigh your hair down) then i blow dry my hair and i use a thermal protection serum on it, this adds shine and protects your hair form the heat. if your using any thermal products on your hair you need a protectant! Once a week i use a deep conditioner or mask, i like neutregena and biolage's conditioning balm. i have medium thick hair somewhat wavy hair. that's my routine.

A. got2be has an awsome sleek/shine product you put while ur hair is still kinda damp, then u blow dry it and straighten it...it works really good(protects hair while making it pretty looking..lol) it's a kind of a pyramid shaped bottle that's orange and pink...good luck!!
