How to dye my hair at home?

Q. I need a hairstylist or someone who dyes their hair at home a lot to help me.

I know to just follow the directions on the box but I'd like some extra tips.

My friends sister turned into a b*tch and won't do it for me anymore. She had some good tools and now she's "charging."

Sooo any tips? THanks tons!<33

A. Just do what it says on the box and you will be fine. It is not hard at all.

How do i dye my hair at home for the first time?
Q. i want to dye my hair. but not all of it. JUST the bottom.
my plan was: to get a haircut the week before getting layers and then dye my hair at home because i found out getting that done at a salon is pricey- for me. i have black hair/VERY dark brown. and its fairly long.. what do you think is the best hair dye and how do i dye JUST the BOTTOM part?

A. Only dye the bottom. its not hard at all. And if you get a hair cut, take the cut hair home and try the dye on that hair first. That way you will see how the dye looks on your hair.

Is it more practical to dye your hair at home than get it done at a salon?
Q. I have been meaning to dye my hair 1 to 2 shades lighter. My natural hair color is dark brown and I want it to be a lighter shade of brown, or maybe even an auburn color. But with my long hair length, it will be quite expensive to get it dyed at the salon. So I thought to just buy the hair coloring kit and dye my hair at home. Is that advisable?

A. Hmmm I always dye darker at home, but go in to get it lightened in the summer. For some reason going lighter scares me to do it myself. Why don't you call and find out how much it would cost.
Good luck!

when can i dye hair again after bleaching and highlighted at salon?
Q. Salon did all of it. don't like the yellow blonde on the top. had done on wednesday and friday at the salon. would like to dye hair at home.
i wanna dyr it light brown. not go lighter.

A. Go back and either DEMAND they fix it to ur liking or get ur money back and go somewhere else, don't do it urself, cause then u run into filling the hair with a demi, then putting either a permanant or a glaze at the ends....Trust me Im a hairdresser, we strive to make the client happy. go back tell her u hate it and give her a chance to fix it
